What does a FineArtsMatter Teacher Supervisor do?

A FineArtsMatter Teacher Supervisor holds a flexible schedule, and is responsible for independently visiting our after-school music classes, Guitar Club (2nd-5th) and KidzKeys (K-2nd), 3-5 times per week to supervise teachers. Classes are held at local elementary schools throughout the school year (August-May). There will also be opportunities for part-time office work during our busy seasons in the Fall and Spring.

Teacher Supervisors visit after-school classes to provide:

  • Hands-on training and coaching
  • In-class teaching support and assistance
  • Valuable teaching advice
  • classroom management and pacing tips for teachers

Supervisors provide feedback and communicate with the main FineArtsMatter office to make sure teachers are being supported properly.
